Online Authentications:

Are you contemplating an online purchase? Let us evaluate the designer item(s) you’re interested in before you make the actual purchase. Simply provide us with the auction number or link of the item that you’re interested in. If the item is a replica, this will save you the hassle of filing a PayPal dispute or a claim with your credit card company. If an online auction site does not contain enough information to properly assess the item, Coal Creek will contact the seller to request any and all relevant information. It is our business to have all the facts prior to making any evaluation. Once the evaluation is complete, we will email the results to you. We do all the legwork ... so you don’t have to!

Letter of Non-Authenticity:

If you are certain that you have purchased a designer replica (i.e., handbag, dress, jeans, etc.) and plan to open a PayPal dispute against the seller, you will be required to provide formal documentation to support your PayPal claim ... we can help! As an organization with excellent credentials, we are qualified to assist you. Coal Creek Auctions can provide you with an unbiased, third-party letter of non-authenticity on official company letterhead. We, of course, will need to do our own research to determine whether the item is, in fact, counterfeit before a letter is issued.

Payment Methods:

Payments to Coal Creek Auctions are required prior to services rendered. We accept Money Order, Cashiers Check and Paypal. A PayPal account is not required to make payment through this service. Legal Disclaimer & Limitations

Coal Creek Auctions is an independent authentication service. We do not have affiliations with any designer brands. Our authentication service is based on 10 years of studying, collecting and buying designer handbags and over 17 years of experience with a leading intellectual property law firm. Although we do everything possible to ensure the opinions rendered are accurate, there is always a small possibility of error. We cannot be held responsible for any loss resulting from the opinion rendered.

If we are unable to gather enough information to make an accurate assessment, we will notify you. A $10.00 service fee will be applicable, and the remaining funds paid will be returned to you.

Evaluation From Direct Photos:

If you have already purchased an item and are unsure of its authenticity, your item can be evaluated by sending digital photos to info@coalcreekauctions.com. For the evaluation, we will need the following views: front, back, bottom and a close-up photo of any interior tags, stitching, and other pertinent information. Once the evaluation is complete, we will email the results to you.

Our normal turn-around time is three business days from receipt of request. We monitor our email after business hours, on weekends, and on holidays. For a rush evaluation, please send an email marked “Urgent”.
